West Brom manager Alan Irvine revealed he isn’t worried about losing his job, despite the Midlands club having lost four on the bounce, reports Sky
West Brom have been in poor form of late, with the Baggies having lost four consecutive league games, scoring just once in the process. Such a run has seen them flirting with the drop zone, and manager Alan Irvine’s position under threat, but the Scot isn’t worried about losing his job.
“I spoke to the chairman (Jeremy Peace) after training, but not about (my position). I went to see him about a completely different matter. I’m really grateful for the support he’s given me. I understand the way things are in this job. There’s a short-term culture nowadays. I don’t think anybody who has been at the last two games can think we are miles away from getting a good result,” Irvine said.
