West Bromwich Albion manager Alan Irvine has revealed midfielder Chris Brunt will miss their weekend clash against Hull City with a hamstring injury, reports the Birmingham
West Brom travel to face fellow relegation-threaten side Hull City this weekend, but will be without a key player in the middle of the park.
“I haven’t decided who will replace him but he is not going to be able to play. It’s a bit of a hamstring strain, it’s not too bad. Hopefully he will be in contention for the Villa game but he’s got no chance in playing in this game,” said Irvine.
Brunt’s absence will likely see Youssouf Mulumbu coming into the midfield to play alongside Craig Gardner. He will be a big loss given his industry level and brilliant distribution for the side, especially with Albion struggling for form of late.
