West Ham to investigate Diafra Sakho injury

West Ham manager Sam Allardyce recently revealed the club are looking to make an investigation into a neck injury picked up by Diafra Sakho, reports the Express.

Sakho picked up a neck injury, which saw him miss the 1-0 win against Newcastle on the weekend, but Allardyce is in the dark on how the striker picked up the injury, and has hinted that the club are taking legal measures to get to the bottom of it.

“I’m not legally qualified to make a comment any further than he got injured when he wasn’t training or playing. From an internal point of view the club will deal with it in terms of how it happened, why it happened and what we’re going to do about it. It’s one big disappointment for him and us but more for him because of the level he’s been playing at and the goals he’s been scoring,” he said.
