Andrej Kramaric’s Leicester City move held up due to work permit issues

According to Sky Sports, Leicester City are encountering problems in their pursuit of Croatian striker Andrej Kramaric, who has a hearing next work over work permit issues.

The 23-year-old has agreed terms and has completed a medical with the Foxes, but his move could now be delayed as a result of the meeting needed. It is thought he doesn’t meet the correct criteria to gain a work permit, so he is automatically ruled out of Leicester’s weekend clash against Aston Villa.

Nigel Pearson’s side have been struggling for goals, and Kramaric was to be the solver of that problem. Chelsea were one of the sides keen on the young forward, but no longer stand a hope of usurping the deal despite hold ups with the work permit. The club recently confirmed Kramaric will be a Leicester player with a deal until 2018 when his work permit is cleared up.
