Arsenal forward Alexis Sanchez scored twice and set up a goal as the Gunners romped to a convincing victory against Stoke City, reports BBC
The hosts took the lead early into the first-half, with Laurent Koscielny heading home from an Alexis Sanchez cross. A short corner move paid off to full effect, with the French defender not picked up when he found space in the area to score.
Sanchez went from provider to goalscorer after half an hour, darting his way into the area, before smartly finishing at the near post to double the Gunners’ advantage.
Minutes after the break, the Chilean international made it 3-0 with a free-kick that was bundled in by goalkeeper Asmir Begovic. The result sees Arsenal keep up with the sides chasing top-four, while Stoke’s momentum was somewhat halted.
