Arsenal are said to have had a second bid rejected for Legia Warsaw midfielder Krystian Bielik for around £1.6M, reports Sky
The 17-year-old is highly-rated, and Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has scouted the youngster following his emergence in the Legia first-team. Signed originally for less than £10K last summer, the Polish club are said to want £2.3M for his services now.
Legia don’t want to let one of their most promising players leave the club, but the two sides have done business in the past, with goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny making the move to the Londoners nine years ago now.
Arsene Wenger is always looking to the future, but Legia have been stubborn to the interest, rejecting both deals put to them so far. His contract with Legia still has two years to run, so they aren’t in any particular rush to sell for under asking price.
