After Arsenal progressed to the FA Cup fifth round, while the likes of Chelsea, Manchester City, Tottenham, and Southampton were knocked out, manager Arsene Wenger admitted the Gunners are one of the favourites now, reports BBC
Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United are the highest ranked sides left in the competition, and given that the former are the current holders of the FA Cup, while boasting decent form of late too, manager Arsene Wenger wouldn’t deny that they have to be favourites to go all the way again.
“We’ll be one of the favourites with the other top-flight sides. But I can’t predict if we’ll win. We have a good experience from last year. We want to retain our cup,” said the long-serving manager, who also added: “The results from yesterday maybe got us on our toes.”
