After being accused for a lack of respect towards Arsenal forward Lukas Podolski ahead of a loan move to Inter Milan this month, manager Arsene Wenger has denied the allegations, reports Sky
Podolski, 29, has been unhappy at the Emirates all season due to a lack of playing time having been afforded to him, and he admitted he would consider his future with the club unless things changed.
Wenger deemed the World Cup winner surplus to requirements and allowed him a move to the Serie A to get game time, but recently suggests Wenger gave little in the way of a farewell to the former Bayern man, something the Frenchman denies.
“I deny completely. I had many conversations with him. Without my agreement, he couldn’t go on loan,” said Wenger.
