Arsenal new-boy Gabriel Paulista wants title success during his time at the Emirates

New Arsenal signing Gabriel Paulista has said he wants to help the side win the Premier League title while he‘s playing for the Londoners, reports the Express.

The 24-year-old is highly-rated, and was a regular in the Villarreal side prior to his exit. He’s a Brazilian centre-back, who reads the game very well, and is dominant in the air. Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger was full of praise for Paulista, and believes he could be an important player in the future.

And the ex-Villarreal man is confident he can play his part in the Gunners pushing to win the Premier League title for the first time since 2004.

“We have great players of a high standard, who are real stars. Arsenal is a very big team and must always be competing for the biggest titles in the world. I think it’s a club that will keep growing throughout the season and that over the next few years we will be able to win important titles,” he said.
