Arsenal set to sign young Polish midfielder Krystian Bielik

According to Sky Sports, Arsenal appear close to completing a deal to sign Legia Warsaw defensive-midfielder Krystian Bielik.

The two clubs had been in talks for weeks over an asking price, but a deal is now reported to have been agreed which could see Bielik signed before Arsenal’s weekend clash against Manchester City. The 17-year-old Poland youth international is now expected to join up with the Arsenal reserve team.

Legia Warsaw manager Henning Berg was full of praise for the young prospect, and gave him a glowing endorsement, saying: “(Krystian) does not have any weaknesses. He’s a physical player with good skills. He has very good understanding of the game and match mentality. Krystian is quite far ahead of other players at his age.”
