Some Aston Villa supporters aren’t happy with a lack of goals being scored this season, and they feel a change in management is what the club needs. And despite a narrow win against Blackpool in the FA Cup third round, fans were still chanting for Lambert’s head. The Villa boss believes in could be harmful to the team.
“They are entitled to say what they want, but it doesn’t do the lads any good. I’ve had it all my career but it doesn’t do the lads any good, it doesn’t do the team any good. They’ll be hurt by it. You have to keep patient. We were not struggling,” he said.
