Despite a recent defeat to Liverpool in the Premier League, Aston Villa manager Paul Lambert has denied he’s feeling the pressure, reports Sky
Liverpool saw past the Villans on the weekend, which was the seventh Premier League game without a win, and the five game in a row that the Midlands club haven’t scored in. Supporters have vented their fury towards the former Norwich man, and reports suggested Lambert was close to the sack, but he’s denied any suggestions of pressure this season.
“Pressure? High-level football? I’m fortunate, I’ve been at the top level playing in European Cup finals and things like that, so pressure is part and parcel of my nature. It’s part and parcel of the game of football. You have to handle it. I’m strong enough to handle it. I don’t moan about it,” said the Scot.
