Aston Villa have completed a deal to sign Manchester City winger Scott Sinclair on loan until the end of the season, reports BBC
The former Swansea City man joined the sky Blues back in 2012, but could barely get any first-team football. He was subsequently loaned out to West Bromwich Albion, but failed to make a real impact. And now Aston Villa have looked to give him a way out of the club.
His loan deal with Paul Lambert’s side comes with a buying option attached, meaning the Villans can make the deal permanent in the summer if Sinclair impressed enough in the coming months. The two clubs were negotiating a permanent deal, but couldn’t agree on his asking price. But now Sinclair is a Villa player for the rest of the campaign, and can prove his worth in the division.
