Chelsea agree terms with Fiorentina over Cuadrado

According to BBC Sport, Chelsea have agreed terms with Fiorentina over their deal to sign Juan Cuadrado for £27M this month, with Mohamed Salah to join the Italians on loan.

The 26-year-old has already agreed personal terms with the Premier League leaders this week, and now it’s up to Chelsea and Fiorentina to conclude the deal. Manager Jose Mourinho is very keen on the Colombian, and is looking at selling Andre Schurrle to Wolfsburg to fund the deal.

Mohamed Salah may also be loaned out to Fiorentina as art of the arrangement. Cuadrado won’t have much competition for a starting place, with Willian’s position potentially up for grabs. Eden Hazard remains one of the first names on the teamsheet, providing the creativity from the left flank, but Cuadrado is a talented individual.
