Chelsea’s Didier Drogba wants to stay at the club beyond the summer

Chelsea striker Didier Drogba recently admitted he wanted to remain with the London outfit past the summer, reports Sky Sports.

The 36-year-old made his Chelsea return in the summer, after having left the club after their 2012 Champions League triumph, but recently admitted he wants to be a part of their future, despite his contract being up at the end of the current campaign.

“When you have achieved so much and won so many trophies like we have done in the past 10 years, that creates something special. I think now that I did not do everything I wanted to do here, I think there is more to do. I love this club and would love to be part of this club for the future, with the new players,” said the Ivorian.
