Crystal Palace interested in Queens Park Rangers’ Jordon Mutch

According to Sky Sports, Crystal Palace are looking to sign Queens Park Rangers midfielder Jordon Mutch this month.

Reports suggested the Eagles had an initial bid of £4M rejected for the 23-year-old, as Queens Park Rangers want to make back the £5.5M they spent on the ex-Birmingham and Cardiff man. Mutch has struggled ever since making the move to London, with manager Harry Redknapp limiting his game since his arrival.

During his time at Birmingham, the midfielder had shown he can provide goals and creativity, but just wasn’t trusted in the QPR side, and failed to show his worth when he did get a rare opportunity. Crystal Palace manager Alan Pardew wants more quality in the team to ensure they can up their goal tally, and Mutch could make the move if the two clubs can agree a fee.
