Crystal Palace have signed out-of-favour Arsenal striker Yaya Sanogo on loan until the end of the season, reports BBC
New manager Alan Pardew made it clear that he was looking for a striker in the transfer market, and was very interested in Sanogo. The young Frenchman has been unable to get much game time with the Gunners this season, but was keen on a local move to a London side that meant he would get more minutes on the pitch.
“He’s a young player with tremendous promise. He is somebody that I have tracked personally and this club has too so that fitted well. We have given him an opportunity. He needs to play more games and I think he’s ready for that and he proved that at Arsenal. It’s tough to get in their team but he’s closer to the starting action with us,” said Pardew
