After completing another 90 minutes since a double leg break, Everton left-back Bryan Oviedo revealed his delight to have finally returned after so long out, reports Sky
Oviedo cruelly missed out on representing Costa Rica in last summer’s World Cup as a result of the injury, and he was showcasing good club form for the Toffees prior to the lengthy layout too. But now he’s back playing for the injured Leighton Baines, he’s hoping to help his side and to build on the last campaign.
“I take it as though I am starting again. I think the most important thing is to have the right mentality, never get down and always want to help the team. I waited a long time for my opportunity, almost 12 months now. I hope to continue to play and progress,” he said.
