Juventus forward Sebastian Giovinco is the latest player to be linked with a move to Tottenham Hotspur after rejecting the latest contract offer from the club, according to Spanish site fichajes.net.
Mauricio Pochettino has given his scouting team the green light to contact the player’s agent in a bid to convince him that the North London club is the right destination for the Italian international.
The site also claims that North London rivals Arsenal are interested but the forwards wants regular first team football having become frustrated at the Italian champions – and Spurs will be able to guarantee him more action.
It is just seven appearances this season for the diminutive striker and not a single goal – and while he is often deployed in wider positions he only managed three goals from 30 games in all competitions last term.
While he is available on a free in the summer it is thought that Spurs are interested in a deal this winter.
