The Brazil international moved to White Hart Lane from Corinthians for a deal worth £17m in the summer of 2013, but has struggled to make a significant impression, finding himself in and out of the starting XI last season, while so far this term his first-team opportunities have been few and far between.
He has found himself behind Mousa Dembele, Nabil Bentaleb, Ryan Mason, Etienne Capoue and Benjamin Stambouli in the pecking order, and as a result Paulinho has reportedly become unsettled and speculation over a possible move has intensified.
Milan are interested in signing the 26-year-old, but can only pursue a loan deal, while Juventus are happy to launch a bid to secure Paulinho on a permanent basis. The Italian champions are also considering an attempt to sign Manchester City striker Stevan Jovetic, but that has been rebuffed by Manuel Pellegrini’s side.
