Lennon closing in on move to Hull

Tottenham winger Aaron Lennon is edging closer to a move to Hull City, who are also hopeful of completing a deal for Lokomotiv Moscow star Dame N’Doye, the Hull Daily Mail has reported.

Lennon has been linked with a move to the KC Stadium during the January transfer window after falling almost completely out of favour at Tottenham, making just 17 appearances this season in all competitions and only three starts in the Premier League. This is despite being a regular throughout much of his nine and-a-half year stay.

He has indicated that he would be willing to join Hull on loan, in a deal which is likely to be made permanent for £7m should Hull manage to avoid relegation. Should Lennon move, he would join former Spurs teammates Michael Dawson, Tom Huddlestone and Jack Livermore on Humberside.

Manager Steve Bruce is also keen to strengthen his attack, and a £3m transfer fee has been agreed with Lokomotiv Moscow for N’Doye, who will travel to England over the weekend to discuss personal terms. The 29-year-old has scored 27 goals in 68 appearances for the Russian side.
