Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini not giving up on the title despite Arsenal defeat

Manchester City recently lost 2-0 at home to Arsenal, which saw Premier League leaders Chelsea extend their lead to five points, but manager Manuel Pellegrini still believes his side can win the title, reports Sky Sports.

Although Manchester City are five points behind, they face Chelsea next in the Premier League, which could see them claw their way back in the title race.

With how the Sky Blues levelled Chelsea on points after previously being eight points behind, Pellegrini is staying positive that his side can deliver again.

“I don’t think that this is finished. We can continue fighting because in football, you never know. It was a long way to recover the eight points Chelsea had on our team, and now they’re five points ahead, it will be a decisive game. We’ll try to prepare, try to win the game and try to close that gap again,” said Pellegrini.
