According to BBC
The 26-year-old is currently away on international duty with the Ivory Coast ahead of the African Cup of Nations, but the Ivorian federation recently confirmed the deal for Bony to join Manchester City had already been completed, meaning he would return from the tournament as a Manchester City player.
But the Sky Blues and Swansea have refuted such news, criticising the federation in the process for speculation, saying: “(Swansea) has not confirmed anything and the Ivory Coast have no right to comment. (Bony) has NOT yet completed his move and when he does, it will be confirmed via official channels – not the Ivory Coast FA.”
Manchester City and Swansea City have been in talks over a £30M deal that will see Bony move to the Etihad, but nothing has been confirmed from either side.
