With some Manchester United supporters growing impatient with a lack of progress made under new manager Louis Van Gaal, midfielder Daley Blind has urged them to be patient, reports Sky
Supporters were heard giving vocal criticism of Van Gaal’s tactics in their clash against Queens Park Rangers, with the game goalless at the time. A change in style saw United come away as 2-0 winners, but fans are starting to lose confidence that the new manager can turn them around. Daley Blind believes his work with the Netherlands national team is proof United can succeed.
“(Van Gaal) makes players better and he makes teams better. I like that in a coach. That is his most important asset. It was the same when I was with him with Holland. He wanted to make the team better. As the team gets better, individuals started standing out as well.,” he said.
