Manchester United’s David De Gea could leave the club

David De Gea’s agent, Jorge Mendes, has revealed the Spanish goalkeeper could leave the club, with Real Madrid being the most likely destination, reports ITV Football.

De Gea, 24, has 18 months left on his deal with the Red Devils, and is regarded as one of the best shot-stoppers in the division. The former Atletico Madrid man has represented Spain on three occasions, but is yet to discuss talks over extending his contract.

His fine form over the last two campaigns has seen interest rise in his services, and La Liga giants Real Madrid are a club looking into his availability to replace long-serving Iker Casillas.

“David is a Manchester United player and has a contract. You have to respect that. (But) I do not know the future, things change every five minutes. We all know that in football nothing is impossible,” said Mendes.
