Manchester United defender Phil Jones believes the Red Devils can still catch Chelsea and mount a title challenge this season, reports Sky
Manchester United are currently 12 points behind Premier League leaders Chelsea, and threw away their chance to gain ground on second-placed Manchester City recently too, but the top two have certainly looked more human in recent weeks, dropping points more frequently than before. As a result, Jones feels the title race isn’t a two-horse race.
“You have seen teams dropping points. I think Chelsea were clear of City and then two games within the space of a week and they are back in it. That’s how football changes. It’s up and down. You just never know who is going to drop points. That gives us hope. There’s always hope, but we have to worry about ourselves really rather than anyone else,” he said.
