Manchester United striker Robin Van Persie doesn’t know whether he has a future with the club, after admitting he’s in the dark about his contract, reports BBC
The 31-year-old has struggled for form for the last 18 months, and is out of contract at the end of next season with Manchester United. He is described to have a “special relationship” with manager Louis Van Gaal, of whom he knew when playing for the Netherlands national team, but has said his future is in the club’s hands.
“It is not up to me – for the moment I am staying here for another 18 months. That is it really. I can’t look into the future. I don’t know what is going to happen after that. We shall have to wait and see. I want to score more. I will do everything to make those goals (happen). I have played something like 20 games and I have scored eight goals. I am not happy with that,” he said.
