Arsenal striker Lukas Podolski has arrived in Milan to complete a loan move to Inter, for which he will undergo a medical on Saturday, the Guardian
The Serie A club hope that the deal can be completed in time for the game away to Juventus on Tuesday, and they are expected to have the option to sign the Germany international on a permanent basis in the summer.
A World Cup winner back in July, Podolski has found opportunities at Arsenal hard to come by this season, with manager Arsene Wenger preferring the likes of Olivier Giroud, Alexis Sanchez and Danny Welbeck to lead his attack. This has led to Podolski publically voicing his frustrations over a lack of playing time.
He joined Arsenal in 2012 after his second spell at Cologne came to an end. Initially a regular in the starting XI, he helped the club win the FA Cup last season. Overall during his time at the Emirates Stadium, he has scored 31 goals in 82 appearances.
