Queens Park Rangers midfielder Sandro has recently revealed the extend of his recover from a knee ligament injury, and hopes to be back training at the end of January, reports Sky
The Brazilian suffered the injury in November, in Rangers’ 1-0 defeat against Newcastle, but could be in line for a speedy recovery. He damaged the medial ligaments in his right knee, but has been working hard to get back in action for the Hoops.
“I am now feeling much better. I have started to do some running and fitness work, and I hope I can return to full training in a couple of weeks. I will be working hard to build on my fitness and then return to full training with my team-mates,” he said.
Signed from Tottenham Hotspur in the summer, Sandro has long struggled with injuries during his time in the Premier League, but QPR manager Harry Redknapp has been desperate for a higher calibre of talent to boost their survival hopes.
