A late goal from Tottenham playmaker Christian Eriksen saw the Londoners into the Capital One Cup final, but they were give a scare by Sheffield United, reports BBC
The Dane opened the scoring in the 28th minute, curling a free-kick into the top corner to set the visitors on their way. They appeared to have successfully seen the game off in the second-half, but Sheffield United were resilient, and got their rewards for their fight.
Substitute Che Adams scored two goals in two minutes to ensure the game would go to extra time, but a swift counter attack by Tottenham saw Eriksen level the game, putting Spurs 3-2 ahead on aggregate.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side will now face Chelsea in the Capital One Cup final on 1 March.
