Stoke City defender Robert Huth charged over response to explicit tweets

According to BBC Sport, Stoke City centre-back Robert Huth has been charged by the Football Association over responses made to a Twitter account that asks its followers the gender of the individuals picture explicitly.

It’s thought Huth replied 12 times to the account in question, and is now to be charged for misconduct. The German international was initially tweeted a picture asking the gender of the explicit person, and replied thusly, but has since been actively replying and will now await punishment.

The 30-year-old has been somewhat frozen out of the first-team this season, with Huth being an unused substitute for the majority of the campaign so far. He’s made just one Premier League appearance, playing four minutes against Arsenal in Stoke’s 3-2 win at the Britannia last month.
