Stoke City striker Peter Crouch has revealed he wants to sign a new deal with the Potters before the end of the season, reports Sky
“I don’t know what will happen in the future but at the moment, for the foreseeable future, I am happy playing for Stoke. My contract is up at the end of the season, but at the moment I will just continue to do what I do – that is work hard and hopefully score some goals,” he said.
The 33-year-old has been in fine form for the Potters this season, but is in the last six months of his deal and is yet to undergo contract talks. An England international, Crouch has been linked with a host of clubs in the Premier League, but he wants to stay at the Britannia Stadium past this summer.
“It is nice to hear when the manager has got belief in you and hopefully I can stay here for a few more years after this. I think it has been a good season and that we can finish in the top half of the league,” Crouch added.
