Swansea City manager Garry Monk tips Wilfried Bony to win Manchester City the title if they sign him

Swansea City manager Garry Monk has tipped striker Wilfried Bony to win Manchester City the Premier League title if the two sides agree on a deal, reports the Express.

Reports have been linking the two parties with a £30M move for the Ivorian, who was the Premier League’s top scorer for 2014, but Monk admitted they haven’t agreed on a fee. The club will accept bids for the talented striker providing they meet the asking price, and Monk added that Bony will win Manchester City the title if they procure his signature.

“Wilfried could well be the difference in the title race, that’s what City see in him. I can see why their interest is there, he gets you goals. The bottom line is he is a goalscorer, and it’s obviously what they want him for and that can be key,” said the Swansea City manager.
