According to the Independent,
The New Zealand international’s contract expires at the end of the season, and Tottenham have made it clear they are willing to pay his contract demands in the summer. Arsenal are said to want the Hammers centre-back for around £3M in January, but West Ham would rather keen Reid for the rest of the season.
Reid wants £60’000 a week and a £1M signing on fee, and Tottenham are keen to meet his demands to bolster their backline for the 2015/16 campaign. Given how much money they have spent on defenders in the past, the Hammers defender would be a bargain arrival on a free.
