Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino says his side won’t rest on narrow lead in Capital One Cup

After winning 1-0 against Sheffield United in their first leg of the Capital One Cup semi-finals, Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino insists his men won’t rest on their laurels in the second leg, reports Sky Sports.

Tottenham have the advantage going into the second leg of the competition, and will face either Liverpool or Chelsea in the final if they can progress. Despite being handed an easier tie in the Capital One Cup semi-finals, they still need to avoid defeat away to a difficult Sheffield United side, and Pochettino is taking no chances.

“We’re happy for the result because it’s 1-0, but we need to go and play the second leg and we need to win again. We need to go and be focused and try to win. We expected a very tough game, and it was a tough game (on Wednesday night),” he said.
