With reports suggesting Tottenham would sell goalkeeper Hugo Lloris if they receive a lucrative January offer, the Londoners have dismissed such speculation as “mischief making”, reports Sky
Joining Spurs for around £8M three years ago from French Ligue One side Lyon, Lloris has quickly become one of the best goalkeepers in the Premier League. The French international has seen interest rise in his services as a result, but the Lilywhites have no intention to sell him.
“There is no substance to the reports. We have talented players and we expect this sort of thing,” said Tottenham spokesperson.
Lloris, 28, has been outstanding for Spurs between the sticks, making eight clean sheets in 25 games in all competitions. There are many clubs who will be interested in his services, but Tottenham have him on a long-term deal.
