Tottenham have renewed their interest in Ukraine international winger Yevhen Konoplyanka, whose contract at Dnipro runs out in the summer, the Daily
The 25-year-old has spent his entire career with Dnipro, scoring a total of 41 goals in 189 appearances in all competitions, but it is unlikely that he will sign a new deal to extend his stay beyond the end of this season.
In light of that, Dnipro would be keen to cash in on him during the January transfer window, rather than see him leave for nothing after the expiry of his contract. The fee demanded is likely to be in the region of £7m, and although several other clubs including Everton, Inter, Manchester United, Monaco and West Ham United are said to be interested, Konoplyanka is said to favour a move to White Hart Lane.
During the January 2014 transfer window, Konoplyanka was on the brink of signing for Liverpool, only for the deal to collapse as time ran out to complete complicated negotiations. He is a key player for the Ukrainian national team, scoring eight goals in 42 caps, while he impressed against Spurs for Dnipro in the Europa League last season.
