West Ham were forced to settle for a point at home to West Brom this afternoon, with the Midlands side having come from behind to earn a draw, reports BBC
The home side took the lead 10 minutes in through striker Diafra Sakho, who headed home from an Aaron Cresswell cross. But minutes before half-time, West Brom found an equaliser.
Saido Berahino finally ended his goal drought in the Premier League, steering in Stephane Sessegnon’s cross from close range. Chances of note were at a premium for both sides, but the point is very valuable for the away side.
West Brom finished the day one point above the drop zone, while West Ham dropped down the table, with Tottenham overtaking them after beating Chelsea.
