With West Ham defender Winston Reid still not having confirmed his desire to stay at Upton Park, manager Sam Allardyce believes the 26-year-old will leave the club at the end of his contract in the summer, reports BBC
Reid has been a standout performer in the Hammers backline this season, which has seen him linked with the likes of Arsenal and Liverpool. The New Zealand international has been with the Londoners for five years now, but doesn’t look to be extending his stay past this summer.
“It’s highly unlikely Winston is going to sign for us based on what people have said to me. There is no future for Winston Reid at West Ham at the moment as his contract finishes on 30 June. He hasn’t said he is or isn’t going to sign. You would err on the back that he isn’t, by the feel and look of it, at this moment in time,” said Allardyce.
