West Ham’s Andy Carroll says the club are targeting a European place following Hull victory

After beating Hull City 3-0 to go just four points adrift of the top-four, West Ham striker Andy Carroll has said the Londoners are targeting a European finish this season, reports Sky Sports.

West Ham are currently 7th in the Premier League table after 22 games, with Sam Allardyce’s side just one point behind Tottenham in 6th. They have earned some impressive results against the likes of Manchester City and Liverpool this campaign already, their recent win over Hull City has given the players confidence of finishing in a European spot.

“There’s a belief in the dressing room. I don’t see why not with the performances we’ve given week-in, week-out that can take us up to the top. The way we’ve been playing the goals have been there, ready to take, and I think today we deserved it,” said Carroll.
