Malaga keeper Guillermo Ochoa has alerted Arsenal and Liverpool after reportedly asking for a move in the summer, according to the Daily
The Mexican international was hugely impressive during last summer’s World Cup as his country reached the last 16 of the competition.
These performances saw Spanish side Malaga snap up his signature for free after his contract with Ajaccio ended.
However the 29-year-old is enduring a frustrating season in La Liga after only being used in the Copa Del Rey by boss Javi Garcia.
Speculation arose in January that the Mexican was looking to move before Malaga sporting director Mario Armando Husillos told the keeper he had to stay.
This means Ochoa will have to wait until the end of the season until any potential move away materialises.
Arsenal are not in need of goal keeping replacements but manager Arsene Wenger has dropped Wojciech Scszczeny, while there are concerns over the long term fitness of David Ospina.
Liverpool meanwhile have been linked with a number of moves for goalkeepers following the unconvincing season of Simon Mignolet – who has been on the end of serious criticism by fans and pundits and was also dropped at by manager Brendan Rodgers at one stage.
