Aston Villa winger Scott Sinclair says he’s looking to make an impression on new manager Tim Sherwood to become a regular fixture in the side during his loan spell, reports Sky
Currently on loan from Manchester City, Scott Sinclair joined Aston Villa in January, with a view to a permanent deal should he impress. He recently scored his first Villa goal in a 2-1 win against Leicester City in the FA Cup fifth round, and is eager for more game time.
Former manager Paul Lambert brought the ex-Swansea City winger to Villa Park earlier this year, but was since axed following a poor run of form. His successor Tim Sherwood has said every player will get a clean slate, so everyone has a chance to get into the team.
Sinclair has largely been used from the bench since his arrival, but with Sherwood an advocate of wingers, he stands a good chance of first-team football. The 25-year-old believes the squad are all hoping to seize the opportunity to get into the reckoning, and none more so than himself.
