Tottenham striker Harry Kane scored twice as the Lilywhites came from behind against Arsenal to earn all three points in Saturday afternoon’s North London Derby, reports BBC Sport.
Arsenal took the lead early into the game, with Mesut Ozil steering a mishit shot from Olivier Giroud into the back of the net. The German international reacted well after his teammate’s effort inadvertently found its way to Ozil, who side-footed a volleyed shot into the back of the net.
In the second-half, Tottenham stepped up the pressure in pursuit of an equaliser, and found it through Harry Kane. The in-form striker scored a close range finish minutes before the hour mark to level the game.
Spurs were dominant, as they sought out a deserved winning goal, and once again it was Kane who got himself on the scoresheet when it mattered most. The academy starlet headed home in the last few minutes of normal time to seal the win at White Hart Lane.
The win saw Tottenham overtake their fierce rivals in the race for a top-four place.
