Tottenham’s in-form striker Harry Kane could be on course to be named Player of the Month for the third consecutive month after being nominated for his impressive scoring antics in March, reports Sky
The England international, 21, won the January and February awards, and has continue his fine form on to March, where he scored five goals in four games. Kane’s form has seen him represent his country at senior level, while also putting his name in the reckoning for Young Player of the Year and Player of the Year, with the nominees to be announced later this month.
Olivier Giroud, Francis Coquelin (Arsenal), Gabriel Agbonlahor (Aston Villa), Jordan Henderson (Liverpool), Marouane Fellaini (Manchester United) were the other nominees, but Kane stands a real chance of winning the award for a third consecutive month. The winner will be announced on Friday, but the Tottenham man could write his name in the history books of he can take down the crown again.
It’s been a fairytale breakthrough season for the Spurs academy graduate, and recognition from his peers and critics will be the icing on the cake.
