The agent of former Borussia Dortmund coach Jurgen Klopp has dropped a hint that he is holding out for the Liverpool job should it become available in the near future, according to the Metro.

Since announcing that he would be leaving the Bundesliga giants back in April, Klopp has been heavily linked with the Liverpool job, however, he has since stated that he will be taking a short sabbatical from football.
But comments made by Klopp’s agent, Marc Kosicke, have suggested that the 47-year-old is holding out for a job in the English top flight, with speculation running wild claiming it is the Liverpool post that he wants.
“The Premier League is very exciting,” he told German website Spox.com.
“And by that we mean not only the top four, there are still other great clubs.
“It’s always about the task. When Jürgen signed for Dortmund, there were other clubs that stood better financially.
“Nevertheless, he signed a contract with Dortmund. He has the great ability to develop things.
“If he goes to a stadium and feels the energy and thinks that he can do something here, that might be more appealing to him than to go to the supposedly great and to seek the treble.”
However, it looks as though he may have to wait, as the Reds have reluctantly backed Brendan Rodgers for another season. But should he fail to build his reputation back up at Anfield by Christmas, Klopp will undoubtedly be waiting in the wings to take over.
