Arsenal are believed to be lining up a stunning £28.7m move for Borussia Dortmund star Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, according to the Metro.
Aubameyang has been tipped to leave the Bundesliga giants at various points over the last year, with the likes of Real Madrid being linked with his signature.
However, German tabloid Bild claims that the Gummers are now frontrunners to snap him up and will test Dortmund’s resolve to keep him with a £28.7m offer.
And if Arsene Wenger were to snap him up, the Gabon international would form one third of the fastest attacking trio in the world alongside Theo Walcott and Alexis Sanchez.
Though Dortmund struggled in their domestic campaign last term, Aubameyang managed to bag himself 25 goals across all competitions.
That takes his total up to an impressive 41 goals in 95 games for Borussia, who arrived at the club in 2013 after chalking up an almost identical record with Ligue 1 side Saint Etienne.
