Arsenal are believed to be scouting highly-rated Sevilla striker Carlos Bacca ahead of a possible move to bring him to north London this summer, the Metro
Rated at a cool £21.3m, the Colombian international has been in inspired form for Sevilla again this term, notching 28 goals in 55 appearances across all competitions – including a brace in the Europa League final last month.
Manchester United have also been credited with an interest, though Gunners chief Arsene Wenger still believes he will be able to beat the Red Devils to his signature.
Reports in Portugal are now claiming that Wenger has even sent scouts to Spain to keep an eye on him.
But with United still in the hunt for a long term replacement for Bacca’s compatriot, Radamel Falcao, the Gunners may still have a battle on their hands to snap him up.
The striker has been called up into the Colombia squad for the Copa America this summer, where he will line up with Falcao.
