Chelsea and Stoke could be set to partake in a player swap deal involving Asmir Begovic and Victor Moses should Petr Cech complete his move to Arsenal, according to the Daily
Cech’s move across London will create the need for cover in the Stamford Bridge goal, and the Blues have apparently already identified Begovic as the ideal man to step into the void and provide competition for current first choice Thibaut Courtois.
But reports elsewhere are claiming that Stoke aren’t willing to give the Bosnian international up so easily, and will demand winger Victor Moses to be included as part of a swap deal.
Moses enjoyed an impressive campaign on loan at the Britannia Stadium last season, and manager Mark Hughes is keen to bring him back on a permanent deal.
The Nigerian international hasn’t featured for the Blues since 2013, and once the deal for Cech finally goes through, it likely won’t be too difficult to convince Jose Mourinho to let him Moses move on.
