Here is Saturday’s news and gossip concerning Chelsea:
The Blues have beaten off competition from some of Europe’s biggest clubs, after agreeing a fee of £6.3m for Brazilian starlet Robert Kenedy, according to The Telegraph.
Jose Mourinho is already closing in on a deal for Nathan, who has played alongside Kenedy for Brazil’s under-20 side.
And it appears that the pair’s countryman Oscar will be staying at Stamford Bridge beyond this summer, the Daily Mirror report.
The player’s agent confirmed that he will not be joining Juventus, despite the Champions League finalists’ interest.
They could be joined by Atletico Madrid striker Antoine Griezmann, according to respected journalist Graham Hunter, as reported in the Metro.
Hunter believes that the French striker would be available, should the Premier League champions make an “extaordinary” offer.
One player likely to be on their way out this summer is winger Victor Moses, according to the Daily Star.
The Star suggest that both Tottenham and Stoke want the 24-year-old, who has struggled to make the grade at Chelsea.
Finally, Lewis Baker will spend the season out on loan with Eredivisie side Vitesse Arnhem, The Independent report.
The England under-20 captain spent last year on loan with MK Dons, and helped the club achieve promotion to the Championship.
