Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech could be an Arsenal player by Friday night as he is due to complete his medical later this afternoon, according to BBC journalist David Ornstien.
Despite going against the wishes of Blues boss Jose Mourinho and the majority of the club’s fans, the iconic goalkeeper has agreed terms on a deal to join the Gunners after losing his place in the Chelsea XI to Thibaut Courtois.
The BBC claim that a fee has been agreed between the two clubs and that Cech’s agent has already agreed personal terms, leaving just a medical to complete before the deal can be signed.

And in a further twist, Cech’s first game as an Arsenal player could come against his former side in the Community Shield at Wembley Stadium in August.
His impending arrival has understandably created a huge buzz amongst the Arsenal faithful, who have been crying out for a top class goalkeeper for years.
